OptiGuard Universal MIO is a high-build solvent-based epoxy coating pigmented with micaceous iron oxide for superior corrosion protection and long-term durability. Designed as a recoatable primer or intermediate coat, it combines strong barrier performance with excellent adhesion on steel, galvanized steel and compatible existing coatings.
Suitable for industrial, marine and structural environments, OptiGuard Universal MIO provides added chemical resistance and can be overcoated with polyurethane or conventional finishes such as OptiThane 421. It is an ideal solution where robust anti-corrosion performance and system flexibility are required.
